5 of our club teams were in action over the weekend, with some good results and even better performances to match! Well done all.
Our U8 team played their first league game of the season, playing against Young Stars Elite F.C. The game ended in a 3-0 win with goals coming from Lorenzo, Christian & Josiah. Well done to Elijah & Yuseff who were awarded player of the match awards & a well done to the U8 GK Zeph for keeping a clean sheet!
Our U9 North team were awarded the win due to our opponents Hacquency unable to field a team.
Our U9 Reds were in clinical form, winning 7-0 vs WO Sports F.C, with goals from Prince 3, Kaylen 2, Isaiah & Leonard. Well done to the whole team for an amazing performance & clean sheet. Special mention to Azarai who was awarded player of the match. Onwards and upwards.
Our U10's team were up against Hill F.C but were unlucky with the result ending 4-0 against us. A performance full of energy and enthusiasm but unfortunately could not match this with a result. Special mention to Tiago who was awarded player of the match.
Our U12's team showed character, team spirit & a never-say-die attitude to come back from 2 goals down at half time to win the match 3-2 against Newark Rangers F.C. Two goals from Javani & Ezana got us the 3 points, which gives us a good start to the league! Well done to Tawab who was awarded player of the match in which was described as "maybe the best Limitless performance I have seen" by one of our coaches Otis.
Our U13's were in clinical form as they won 7-0 against Clissold Park Rangers F.C! A hat-trick from Joshua E, Lamar 2, Aidan & Jaydon gave us the win. A very professional team performance all around from the team gives us a good start to our league campaign. Special mention to Emir who was solid at the back which gave him the player of the match award. Well done to Miguel (GK) and his defence for keeping the clean sheet! A good start to the league after last weeks 8-2 win vs Clapton Orient F.C.
Well done to all our teams on a fantastic day of football! Looking forward to next week.
